10 Apr 2007- Review- The Number 23
16 November 2007 - 16:19

Draws you in very nicely at the beginning, very colorful and imaginary as childhood often seems in hindsight, dark and troubled as the character emerges, though I think they tried too hard to make him seem crazier than he needed to be at the climax.

I liked the graphic detective novel style imagery they used in the storyline and Harry Greyson Williams composed some great Joy Division-like music for the the blood sex scenes.

Interesting point of view, though I don't think you have to be delusional to see significance in numbers.

I did however, start adding directly after the movie and nothing came to 23.
